There will be two categories to compete in. The first is interceptions. Pretty straight forward there. The person with the most by the end of the year wins.

The second is passer efficiency rating. I think that I might be able to keep a cumulative tally of each player's PER by using this Web site PER Efficiency Web site. This way, the numbers won't be skewed for a QB who gets knocked out going 0 for 1 with a pick.

If it gets too complicated, I will just award points for the lowest PER each week (if there are 25 players, lowest PER gets 25 points, highest gets 1).

So all I really need is for you participants to give me the name of your QB each week. Remember, this is a suicide pool so after you use a QB, he is dead to you- you cannot use him again for the remainder of the season. I will try to post a list of people who have and haven't sent me picks each week along with the updated scores. I shouldn't have a problem getting scores up very late Sunday night/Monday morning and then again late Monday night/early Tuesday morning if the Monday nighter is applicable. Also remember that because of the time difference here in Korea, my hours of operation are a little different. So if I don't get back to you right away, I am probably in bed.

As for a prize. I started this too late to take a cash pool, plus I am out of the country, plus I figured fewer people would join if they had to ante. So, for this first year let's see how it goes and only play for bragging rights. Maybe whoever wins the league gets to use one QB for 2 or 3 weeks next year. Or maybe I will find a sweet Heath Schuler jersey on e-bay for the winner.
