-Every team makes the playoffs
-Round 1 of the playoffs is week 14 of the regular season (December 12)
-The "Toilet Bowl" (championship match up between the winner of the Weinke Conference and the winner of the Leaf Conference) will be week 17- the last week of the regular season.
-The two conference winners will have byes for the first 2 rounds of the playoffs. The other 3 division winners in each conference have one bye (see previous post for division placements)
-Before the start of the first week of the playoffs, each person will rank all of the current starting QBs (#1 is the shittiest, or person you would like most. #32 is Peyton Manning- someone like him. Got it?). If you do not submit a list, you will forfeit your position and your QB will be chosen based on my list (basic order of NFL QB PER) which will take into account the order of all participants who also failed to send in a list and QBs already taken.
-I will assign you your QB for each round of the playoffs (remember this is our play-offs not the NFLs. It will still be during their regular season) based on the list you provide. The person with the best score during the regular season gets first choice, the next best record goes after and so on and so forth.
-Your regular score will be determined by your accumulated Passing Efficiency Rating
-For the first round of the playoffs, the six teams with the lowest scores from each conference advance
-For the second round of the playoffs, the top 3 teams advance
-For the third round of the playoffs, only the conference winner advances
-The two conference champs will face-off in the "Toilet Bowl"
I hope this doesn't sound too confusing for everyone. If you have any questions, let me know.
Basically, just worry about sending me your picks each week. If you are gonna be on vacation or something, be sure to send me your picks for the weeks that you are going to miss also. I need to think of a penalty for not sending in your picks. Right now I am thinking of a 10 for 10, 200 yards, 2TDs and no interceptions line to sub for the week you miss. Sound good?
